I saw in April a book by Jenny Haskins called "Jenny's Heritage" and I knew that I just had to make one for me. So I bought some gorgeous fabric from Accent Sewing in South Carolina for the borders (I think it was called Creme de la Creme); for the rest I used cream and white silks and cottons from my own stash.
Here is the entire quilt - 16 blocks, all different. I had completed it in June 09, and I proudly looked at the work after putting the binding on, and I noticed that the block 4 and 16 were swapped!! Oh well, as the Amish say, each quilt must have an error - just wonder if it is meant to be so obvious... But I do still think it is gorgeus!

ReplyDeleteEn ymmärä miksi edellinen viesti ei näy silla laila kun oon kirjoittanut. Johtuisko se siitä kun on ollut Googlen kääntäjä päällä. Mutta nyt uudesata uusi yritys.
